The R&D facility, operational since inception,has been constantly translating the product ideas into reality. We provide support to all the business groups within the company by coordinating work with them in understanding the needs of Indian consumer and delivering acceptable products for launch. The R & D team at Metro Agro consists of a young team of dynamic scientists and technologists who specialize in the research of multiple disciplines. The key task of the team is to provide Metro Agro a competitive edge by developing new products that are preferred by the consumers and by constantly adding value to the existing range of the products through product, process or packaging innovations. Apart from regularly tapping into the technical expertise. we have established contacts with various Indian research institutes and organizations.


Metro Agro Food's Quality Assurance system is designed to ensure delivery of food products that are best in class and offer the promise of food safety. Our manufacturing processes are backed up by HACCP based Food Safety systems to optimize product quality, maximize Consumer delight and reinforce our commitment to comply with or exceed all the statutory and regulatory requirements of the land.


Metro Agro Quality Assurance culture follows the three pronged approach of partnership, training and continual improvement.


Voice of consumer drives the quality of products at Metro Agro Quality is built into new & existing products through rigorous research and continually improved through plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle. Apart from the intensive checks on raw material, packaging and factory despatches, we also undertake product quality assessment till the product reaches the retail stores. This enables us to look at the product from consumer's eyes.


In order to allow consumers to get back to us easily with their feedbacks, concerns or suggestions, we have a robust redressal mechanism that employs Customer Helpline (including toll free number for BSNL / MTNL subscribers) and e-mail ID.
